Chicago, IL – Feb 4, 2020: Chicago Theological Seminary, a Christian ecumenical American seminary located in Chicago, Illinois partners with QuickLaunch to provide one-click secure access to multiple applications, reduce help desk call volumes, cut operational costs, automate user provisioning and enhance institutional security.
QuickLaunch will help the institution to transform the way they manage human and device authentication, authorization, access control and integration while improving overall user experience.
Chicago Theological Seminary (CTS) was looking for a password reset solution that can help them save password reset costs and reduce help desk call volumes. QuickLaunch Smart Password Manager will allow their users to reset passwords using multiple factors such as SMS, security questions, email and YubiKey.
QuickLaunch will also provide single sign-on to multiple applications including Campus Café, Canvas and Exchange 2010. Students, staff and faculty at CTS will be able to login to different applications using a single set of credentials. Also, IT administrators will be able to track deviations in user behavior and protect users’ accounts from misuse using QuickLaunch Adaptive Authentication.
CTS also opted for User Self-Registration and Automated provisioning to streamline user onboarding and access control. User Self-Registration will bring an end to the practice of sending default passwords over email or mailing letters to the user. The new solution will allow users to create their password when they login to the system for the first time.
Manual provisioning can be laborious, error-prone and time consuming. QuickLaunch Automated Provisioning will help IT administrators to onboard users faster, streamline user access management across multiple applications, grant privileges to different users based on their roles and synchronize Active Directory changes to downstream applications within seconds. This will save manual efforts, thereby boosting IT productivity as a whole.
