Miami, FL – Sep 29, 2020: Elmira College, a private college in Elmira, New York selected QuickLaunch as its identity partner. As part of this collaboration, QuickLaunch will be offering its proprietary Single Sign-On, Identity Provider, Password Manager with MFA, Adaptive Authentication, User Self-Registration and Mobile App.
QuickLaunch Identity Provider will help the institution to own a trusted and secured identity on the cloud. Single Sign-On will help the users to login to multiple applications with a single set of credentials. Remembering multiple usernames and passwords will no longer be a problem for students, staff and faculty.
Self-Service Smart Password Manager will allow users to reset passwords on their own without the need to raise requests to the IT helpdesk. Besides reducing helpdesk costs and overheads, this will help boost the draining productivity of users and the IT helpdesk. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) will allow users to set at least one additional mode of authentication to verify their identity at the time of login or resetting their password, without relying on a single password.
Adaptive Authentication will solve BYOD security headaches and enhance fraud risks assessments by leveraging artificial intelligence. It will trigger additional authentication based on deviations in user behavior (location, network, browser, device etc.), preventing false access.
User Self-Registration (First Time User) will allow first time users to create their own password, eliminating the process of providing default passwords to new users joining the institution.
QuickLaunch mobile app will modernize the end user experience by giving users access to apps, ability to reset passwords, login through TouchID and FaceID and receive password expiry notifications, all from a mobile device.
