Miami, FL – Jul 16, 2024: Roxbury Community College has selected QuickLaunch to manage digital identities, streamline access control, automate user provisioning, and drive digital transformation. As part of this collaboration, QuickLaunch will provide the institution with its proprietary solutions: Single Sign-On, Self Service, Adaptive MFA, Account Activation, and Identity Lifecycle Management, specifically addressing the institution’s security and automation needs.
QuickLaunch's AI-powered Single Sign-On will enable Roxbury Community College to allow users (students, staff, and faculty) to log in to multiple applications with a single set of credentials, thereby enhancing the end-user experience and significantly improving productivity.
The Self Service feature will allow users to reset lost or forgotten passwords without IT help desk intervention. Users will be able to reset passwords using multiple authentication factors, such as SMS, email, and security questions, which will drastically reduce help desk call volume and operational costs.
Adaptive MFA will detect suspicious login attempts and alert users, prompting MFA based on deviations in user behavior, such as time of login and location.
Account Activation will enable first-time users to set up their accounts and passwords, eliminating the need to send default passwords via email or hard copy.
The Identity Lifecycle Management connector will help the institution replace PowerShell scripts and automate the user onboarding process, reducing IT overhead costs and errors associated with manual user provisioning.
