Brigham Young University Hawaii Selects QuickLaunch for Identity and Access Management
Miami, FL – July 08, 2021: Brigham Young University Hawaii (BYUH) selects QuickLaunch to manage digital identities, streamline access control, automate user provisioning, and drive digital transformation. As a part of this collaboration, QuickLaunch will empower the institution with its proprietary solutions (Single Sign-On, Smart Password Manager with MFA, Adaptive Authentication, User Self-Registration, and Automated Provisioning) to specifically address security and automation business needs of the institution.
QuickLaunch AI-powered Single Sign-On will help BYUH to allow users (students, staff, and faculty) to login to multiple applications such as PeopleSoft Canvas O365 and many other applications using a single set of credentials, thus enhancing the end user experience and greatly improving user productivity.
Smart Password Manager with MFA will allow users to utilize self-service functionality to reset lost/forgotten passwords without the intervention of IT help desk as users will be able to reset passwords using multiple factors of authentication such as SMS, Email and security questions. This will drastically reduce help desk call volume, thereby reducing operational costs.
Adaptive Authentication will help in detecting suspicious login attempts and alerting users. The system will prompt MFA based on deviations in user behavior (time of login, location of login etc.).
User Self-Registration will allow first time users to set up their account and password, thereby eliminating the need of sending default passwords to users via email or hard copy letters.
Automated Provisioning connector will help the institution replace powershell scripts and automate the user onboarding process, thereby reducing IT overhead cost and errors during manual provisioning of the users.
In a nutshell, QuickLaunch will help the BYUH to manage digital identities, enhance the end user experience, boost user productivity, improve institutional security, reduce operational costs, and all this at one-third of the cost as compared to other vendors.
