Chicago, IL – May 24, 2020: Beloit College, a private liberal arts college in Wisconsin selects QuickLaunch over Microsoft to protect digital identities and transform end user experience. As part of this collaboration, QuickLaunch will be offering its proprietary Single Sign-On, Smart Password Manager with MFA and User Self-Registration.
Single Sign-On will help users at Beloit College to login to multiple applications such as Jenzabar, O365 and more using a single set of credentials while Smart Password Manager with MFA will allow users to reset their account password without the intervention of the IT help desk. This will not only enhance user productivity but will also help in improving the end user experience and saving thousands of dollars spent in password resets going through the IT help desk.
User Self-Registration will bring an end to the practice of sending default passwords to first time users over email. Instead, the first-time user will receive a link to setup their security profile and password based on policies defined by the institution. This will minimize the risk of user accounts getting compromised.
Why Beloit College Selected QuickLaunch over Microsoft?
Beloit College was initially going for Microsoft. But the support cost per user charged by Microsoft was way too high. QuickLaunch helped the institution to get a solution that was cost-effective, robust and scalable. Most importantly, support was pre-included irrespective of the user count.
