Rose State College Selects QuickLaunch As Its Identity Partner
Chicago, IL – Aug 27th, 2019 - Rose State College selects QuickLaunch to solve the major identity challenges faced by the institution. The institution was facing multiple problems in managing user identities. Also, a large volume of password reset requests was draining IT productivity and increasing operational costs. QuickLaunch will provide one-click secure access to all applications (such as Peoplesoft, Canvas, Gmail, Exchange, and EZproxy) to their students, staff, and faculty.
The users will now be able to access all their applications with a single set of credentials from a single screen using QuickLaunch Single Sign-on.
QuickLaunch Password Manager will help the users to reset their password on their own while Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) will authenticate the users to login/reset passwords using a combination of different factors such as security questions, email, SMS or YubiKey. It will not only boost the draining productivity of users but will also help the institution to save thousands of dollars that were spent on every password reset request going through the IT helpdesk.
QuickLaunch User Self-Registration will bring an end to the practice of sending welcome letters to the users as users will be able to create their own passwords at the time of login.
QuickLaunch Adaptive Authentication will prompt the users with MFA if the system detects suspicious login. QuickLaunch uses artificial intelligence to determine user behavior (based on time of login, location, browser and few other factors). It will protect user accounts from suspicious login.
