Texas A & M International University Selects QuickLaunch As Its Identity Partner

IDP, SSO and Password Manager Integration at TAMIU
TAMIU was looking for a user-friendly cloud-based solution capable to meet the needs of its end-users as well as the IT department. QuickLaunch provided IDP, SSO and Password Manager to the institution with self-service capabilities, thereby helping the institution to enhance overall user experience.
IDP or Identity Provider will be used by the higher ed institution as a cloud-based server. Meanwhile, SSO or Single Sign-On will be used by the users as a secure platform to login into multiple apps with a single set of credentials. Therefore, SSO will allow login into multiple apps.
Additionally, the new dashboard incorporated within the SSO and Password Manager is going to provide actionable insights and analytical reports to the IT admins which will enable them to understand the user behavior. On the other hand, the self-serviceable password manager will allow users to reset their own password. Thereby saving their time and effort of raising a password reset request to the help desk and waiting for it to get manually resolved.
At the same time, the self-serviceable password manager will save manhours of the IT department that would’ve got wasted if they had to manually resolving password reset requests.
In short, QuickLaunch SSO and Password Manager will not only help TAMIU IT department to boost productivity, but also helped to avoid unnecessary expenditures (incurred with password reset) whilst enhancing the end user experience.
