Tougaloo College, a Historically Black Institution selects QuickLaunch as their Identity Partner

Chicago, IL – Feb 11, 2020: Tougaloo College partners with QuickLaunch to manage digital identities and streamline identity and access management across the institution. QuickLaunch will help the institution with their original goal of having an all-in-one IAM solution that will provide one-click secure access to all of their applications, reduce help desk call volumes and password reset costs, manage user identities and streamline user onboarding processes.

Tougaloo College is the 27th historically black institution that has partnered with QuickLaunch to uplift its current identity infrastructure with QuickLaunch’s next-gen identity and access management solution.

QuickLaunch Single Sign-On will help the users (student, staff and faculty) at Tougaloo College to login to multiple applications (Jenzabar, Moodle, Office 365 and more) using a single set of credentials and accessing those applications all in one location.

QuickLaunch Smart Password Manager with MFA will help the institution to reduce password reset costs incurred for every password request going through the IT help desk. Reducing the volume of help desk calls related to password reset will also improve IT productivity by allowing IT knowledge experts to work on more complex matters. Users will be able to reset their password using multiple factors of authentication (security questions, SMS and Email).

QuickLaunch Adaptive Authentication will trigger additional authentication based on deviations in user behavior, preventing false access to a user’s account.

QuickLaunch User Self-Registration will bring an end to the practice of sending default passwords via email or through the mail. It will allow users to create their password when they login to the system for the first time.
