“As QuickLaunch enters its next stage of growth, we are strengthening our leadership with trusted individuals who deeply understand the operational and cybersecurity challenges facing higher education today”, said Anjli Jain, Chairman of the Board at QuickLaunch and GP of ElevenX Capital,“ With more than 30 years of experience working alongside colleges and universities, Raymond brings a trusted perspective shaped by decades of real-world partnership and platform scale. "After decades in higher education technology, I've watched wave after wave of transformation - but nothing compares to what's happening right now. AI isn't coming to higher ed; it's here. Cybersecurity isn't optional; it's existential. And institutions need partners who understand both the technology and the mission. QuickLaunch represents the perfect convergence of everything I've built my career around: higher-ed technology, AI innovation, and cybersecurity. I didn't join QuickLaunch to manage the status quo. I'm here to lead us into the most exciting technology inflection point higher education has ever seen and to help institutions win in this moment. The future is being built right now. Let's build it together." - Raymond Todd Blackwood, President, QuickLaunch
Raymond previously served as Vice President of Product Management at Anthology Inc., where he led the Anthology Student product team through its transition to SaaS and expansion into global education markets. Prior to Anthology, he spent 9+ years at Campus Management Corp in leadership roles including VP, Director, and Sr. Product Manager, and held earlier technology leadership responsibility at the University of Advancing Technology, driving campus digital transformation initiatives.
With this appointment, QuickLaunch further accelerates its vision of enabling institutions to automate identity lifecycle management, strengthen access security, and deliver frictionless digital experiences for students, faculty, and staff.
